About Us

Who We Are

Montessori Foundation Ghana (MoFoG) is an incorporated, non-profit organization made up of passionate Montessori practitioners dedicated to advancing Montessori education in Ghana. We serve as a national umbrella body for schools, training centres, educators, parents, and advocates who believe in the transformative power of Montessori.

Founded out of a vision to unify Montessori practice across the country, MoFoG provides support services, monitors and evaluates standards, and acts as a vital link between the Montessori community, government institutions, families, and the wider public.

Our community reflects the symbolism of our logo — a chain of joined hands representing unity, collaboration, and mutual support. Together, we work to raise the standard of Montessori education, ensuring it remains relevant, authentic, and accessible to all children across Ghana.

Our Vision

Making Montessori Matter in Ghana. We envision Montessori education becoming a well-known, highly respected, and informed choice for families, schools, and communities across Ghana.

Our Mission

Montessori Makes the Difference. We support and influence schools, educators, and families to deliver excellent Montessori programmes that nurture the holistic development of infants, toddlers, and children from birth to 12 years.
